We have noticed that some schools and colleges are being contacted by, or are directly contracting with, private third-party companies for work experience and career engagement activities. Please be aware that Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (part of the NHS Humber Health Partnership) does not collaborate with these private organisations for additional work experience or career engagement encounters. If you have received notice otherwise, please disregard it.
As a public sector organisation, we are committed to working with you to support young people in growing their knowledge and understanding of the world of work through sustainable and meaningful activities. Therefore, please can we kindly ask that you continue with the following arrangements we have in place:
For Work Experience arrangements, please contact Jayne Dobson at Hull City Council: [email protected]
For all HUTH Career Engagement requests and activities, email Claire Pick, our Career Engagement Advisor, at [email protected]
We also work in collaboration with other public sector organisations to support career engagement, including; Hull City Council’s Young People, Skills and Employability Team, the Hull and East Yorkshire Careers Hub (Careers & Enterprise Company), Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), the East Riding Adult Social Care and Health team (specifically for ‘Careers on Wheels’), as well as wider NHS Trusts.
We understand that providing supportive work experience and career engagement activities to a large number of students can be challenging, but please note that we do not contract or supply activities through any private organisations.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
